Experienced in telecom network security, virtualization, and traffic engineering, John Timothy Jackson is founder and principal engineer of Nyetvork Corp. His Vancouver, British Columbia-based company delivers network design and development solutions for enterprise and carrier networks. John Timothy Jackson has past experience in network design and development with AT&T Wireless in Redmond, Washington. As IP architect he oversaw the design and assisted in the implementation of a national MPLS-based transport network and virtualized service delivery architecture. His efforts enabled the integration of revenue-bearing voice, data, and control elements within a common, virtually segmented transport network
Mr. Jackson has also held responsibilities as a senior engineer at Juniper Networks. Based in Chicago, he was part of a team that oversaw sales and engineering efforts across the US central region, including Alltel Wireless, AT&T Wireless/Cingular, and Verizon Wireless. Early in his career, he engaged as architect, IP development with Terabeam Networks, developing IP/MPLS-based services and transport networks.
A McMaster University economics graduate, Mr. Jackson holds Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) qualifications in routing and switching. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and walking his dogs.
